  • 0.8 cups milk 
  • teaspoon vanilla 
  • 1.5 cups flour 
  • teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • teaspoon baking soda 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg 
  • teaspoon ground ginger 
  • teaspoon ground allspice 
  • cup nuts - pecans chopped
