  • 1.3 cups fregola uncooked
  • 0.3 cup chives fresh finely chopped

  • tablespoon olive oil

  • tablespoons walnuts toasted chopped

  • tablespoon abbamele divided
  • tablespoon abbamele divided

Directions

  1. Combine broth and 1 cup water in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a simmer.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add mushrooms; cook 5 minutes or until moisture evaporates.
  4. Add shallots; cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Add fregula and salt; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in wine; cook 30 seconds or until liquid is nearly absorbed, stirring constantly.
