Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup breadcrumbs dry fine
  • tablespoons yogurt plain fat-free
  •  garlic cloves 
  • 0.1 teaspoon hot sauce 
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • 1.5 cups onion red sliced ()
  • tablespoon red wine vinegar 
  • 12 ounce roasted bell peppers red drained coarsely chopped chopped (or 3 large roasted bell peppers, )
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt

  • aluminum foil
  • broiler

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Place onion and garlic on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet; broil 5 1/2 inches from heat 10 minutes.
  3. Let stand 5 minutes.
  4. Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add onion, garlic, and chopped red bell pepper. Process mixture until finely chopped.
  5. Add breadcrumbs and remaining ingredients to processor bowl; process until smooth.
  6. Serve with pita wedges, reduced-fat crackers, or raw fresh vegetables.
