  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black
  • tablespoon butter 
  • ounces cremini mushrooms quartered
  • 0.3 cup cooking wine dry red
  • tablespoon flour all-purpose
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • pound ground sirloin 
  • 1.3 cups lower-sodium beef broth fat-free
  • 0.3 cup onion divided grated
  • teaspoon red wine vinegar 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Combine 1/4 cup onion, pepper, salt, garlic, and beef. Shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Coat with cooking spray.
  3. Add patties; cook 3 minutes on each side or until browned.
  4. Melt butter in pan.
  5. Add mushrooms; saut 4 minutes. Stir in wine and remaining onion; cook 2 minutes.
  6. Combine broth and flour; add to pan, and bring to a boil. Cook 5 minutes or until thick.
  7. Add patties and vinegar to pan; cook 2 minutes.
