  • 12 oz curd cottage cheese 
  • tablespoons flour all-purpose
  • tablespoon chives fresh chopped
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground pepper red (cayenne)
  • 0.3 cup onion chopped
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • cup peas sweet frozen thawed (from 1-lb bag)
  • 20 oz chicken thighs boneless skinless cut into 3/4-inch pieces
  • 1.5 cups cream sour (from 16-oz container)
  • oz extra wide egg noodles uncooked

Directions

  1. Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Mix onion, chicken and red pepper in cooker. In large bowl, mix cottage cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese and flour; pour over chicken.
  3. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 5 to 6 hours.
  4. Stir mixture; stir in noodles and peas. Increase heat setting to High. Cover; cook 20 to 30 minutes or until noodles are tender.
  5. Garnish with chives.
