  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • 0.3 cup basil fresh chopped
  • 1.5 cups cup heavy whipping cream sour reduced-fat
  • 26 ounce tomatoes fat-free
  • ounces parmigiano-reggiano cheese grated
  • pound penne pasta) (tube-shaped uncooked

  • ounces mozzarella cheese smoked shredded
  • 10 ounce pkt spinach frozen dry thawed drained chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.
  3. Drain.
  4. Heat marinara sauce in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and spinach, stirring until blended; cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat; stir in cooked pasta.
  7. Spoon half of pasta mixture into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  8. Combine sour cream, smoked cheese, and basil; spread over pasta mixture in dish. Spoon the remaining pasta mixture over sour cream mixture; sprinkle evenly with Parmigiano-Reggiano.
  9. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
  10. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
