  • 0.3 cup self-rising cornmeal 
  • large eggs lightly beaten
  • 0.3 cup jalapeño peppers minced
  • medium onions

  • cup self-rising flour 
  • 0.5 cup condensed milk sweetened
  • servings vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Cut onions into 1/4-inch-thick slices, and separate into rings.
  2. Combine flour and cornmeal in a bowl.

  4. Pour oil to depth of 3 inches into a Dutch oven; heat to 37
