Ingredients

  • 14.5 oz canned tomatoes diced green canned
  • sprigs jalapeno fresh
  • 0.3 cup cilantro leaves fresh packed
  • 0.3 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cumin 
  • slices jalapeno 
  • tablespoon juice of lime fresh
  • 0.3 cup onion red chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper dried red crushed
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • servings tortilla chips

Directions

  1. Drain liquid from tomatoes, reserving 1 Tbsp. liquid; discard remaining liquid.
  2. Place reserved liquid, tomatoes, and next 8 ingredients in a food processor or blender. Pulse 5 to 6 times or until finely chopped. Cover and chill 1 to 24 hours before serving.
  3. Garnish, if desired.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips. Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 7 days.
