  • 19 oz canned tomatoes hearty canned
  • slices pepper jack cheese 
  • slices sandwich bread white
  • 1.5 teaspoons butter unsalted softened
  • teaspoon parsley fresh chopped

  • panini press

Directions

  1. Heat soup as directed on can. Meanwhile, heat panini maker to 350°F (medium-high).
  2. Place cheese slices on 1 slice of the bread; top with remaining slice of bread.
  3. Spread butter on top of sandwich.
  4. Place on panini maker. Close cover; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.
  5. Remove sandwich to plate or cutting board; cut into 12 small squares.
  6. Ladle hot soup into 2 bowls or cups.
