Ingredients

  • 0.5 package puff pastry frozen thawed (17.3-ounce size) (1 sheet)
  • 0.5 cup coarsely stilton cheese shredded crumbled
  • tablespoons spring onion finely chopped
  • tablespoon bell pepper red finely chopped

  • plastic wrap
  • aluminum foil

Directions

  1. Place pastry on lightly floured surface.
  2. Cut lengthwise at perforations into 3 strips.
  3. Roll pastry slightly to smooth.
  4. Sprinkle each strip with cheese, onions and bell pepper.
  5. Mark line lengthwise down center of each strip. Tightly roll each side toward center line, leaving 1/4-inch space at center; press rolls slightly.
  6. Brush off any excess flour with fingers. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes but no longer than 4 hours.
  7. Heat oven to 400°. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil or cooking parchment paper.
  8. Cut rolls into 1/4-inch slices.
  9. Place about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
  10. Bake about 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
  11. Serve warm or cool.
