  • teaspoon baking soda 
  • 0.8 cup firmly brown sugar light packed
  • large eggs 
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • cup granulated sugar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.3 tsp nutmeg grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon nutmeg grated
  • cup pecans coarsely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • cup cup heavy whipping cream sour
  • 0.8 cup butter unsalted softened

Directions

  1. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy; gradually add granulated sugar, beating well.
  2. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating until blended after each addition.
  3. Add sour cream, mixing well.
  4. Combine flour and next 5 ingredients; add to butter mixture, beating well.
  5. Spread batter into a greased and floured 13" x 9" pan.
  6. Combine brown sugar, pecans, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, and 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. nutmeg in a small bowl.
  7. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours.
  8. Uncover; bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
