Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup canola oil 
  •  eggs 
  • 0.5 cup honey 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • cup sunflower seeds 
  • teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 1.5 cups flour whole wheat

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the oil, honey, eggs and vanilla.
  2. Combine the flour and salt; gradually add to honey mixture and mix well.(dough will be very soft). Stir in sunflower kernels.
  3. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets.
  4. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove to wire racks to cool.
