Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • tablespoon butter melted
  • 1.3 pounds apples i use 2 granny smith apples peeled thinly sliced
  • 0.3 teaspoon nutmeg 
  • teaspoon juice of lemon 
  • 0.3 cup maple syrup 
  • teaspoons olive oil 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • pounds sweet potatoes and into peeled thinly sliced
  • ounce sandwich bread white

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 40
  2. Combine apples and lemon juice in a large bowl.
  3. Add the sweet potatoes and the next 4 ingredients (sweet potatoes through pepper).
  4. Place the sweet potato mixture in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  5. Bake at 400 for 40 minutes, stirring after 25 minutes.
  6. Place bread in a food processor; pulse 10 times or until coarse crumbs form to measure 1 cup.
  7. Combine breadcrumbs, oil, and nutmeg; sprinkle over the sweet potato mixture.
  8. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden.
  9. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
