  •  garlic clove minced
  • small onion thinly sliced
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • ounces pimientos diced drained
  • pounds potatoes peeled thinly sliced
  • 0.8 teaspoon salt 
  • ounces swiss cheese shredded divided
