Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fettuccine barilla 
  • 0.5 cup basil fresh thinly sliced
  • large garlic clove thinly sliced
  • 6.5 cups heirloom tomatoes green red yellow seeded coarsely chopped
  • 0.7 cup olive oil divided
  • tablespoons oregano fresh chopped
  • ounces parmesan shaved
  • large shallots thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Heat 1/3 cup oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add shallots and sauté 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Meanwhile, cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite.
