Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • tablespoon dijon mustard 
  • ounce bread french toasted halved lengthwise
  • tablespoons green onions thinly sliced
  • teaspoons juice of lemon fresh
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • inch plum tomatoes 
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt 
  • ounce solid tuna in water white flaked drained canned
  • ounce swiss cheese shredded

Equipment

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl.
  3. Add tuna; stir gently.
  4. Hollow out top and bottom halves of bread, leaving a 1-inch-thick shell; reserve torn bread for another use.
  5. Place bread, cut sides up, on a baking sheet. Broil 1 minute or until toasted.
  6. Spoon tuna mixture evenly into bread shells; top each with 2 tomato slices and 2 tablespoons cheese. Broil 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
  7. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon green onionson each sandwich, if desired.
