Ingredients

  • 6-inch wholewheat pita breads (es in diameter)
  • cup roma tomatoes chopped (plum)
  • cups zucchini chopped
  • 0.3 cup onion chopped
  • tablespoons olives ripe sliced
  • teaspoon basil dried fresh chopped
  • 0.3 cup pasta sauce 
  • ounces mozzarella cheese shredded

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425°. Split each pita bread around edge with knife to make 2 rounds.
  2. Place rounds on ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake about 5 minutes or just until crisp.
  4. Mix tomatoes, zucchini, onion, olives and basil in medium bowl.
  5. Spread spaghetti sauce evenly over pita rounds. Top with vegetable mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. Cut into wedges.
