  • ounces angel hair pasta uncooked
  • 19.5 ounce clams minced canned
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic minced
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • tablespoons parmesan cheese fresh shredded
  • servings pepper freshly ground

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic; saute 2 minutes.
  4. Drain clams, reserving liquid.
  5. Add clam liquid to skillet, and simmer 5 minutes.
  6. Add clams; simmer 5 additional minutes.
  7. Combine drained pasta and clam mixture in a serving bowl; toss gently.
  8. Sprinkle with cheese and pepper.
  9. Serve immediately.
