  • 10.8 ounce cream of mushroom soup canned
  • 1.5 cups french-fried onions divided
  • 2.5 cups milk 
  • cup peas frozen
  • ounces penne pasta uncooked
  • cup cheddar cheese shredded divided
  • 16 ounce sausage smoked hillshire farm®

Equipment

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cut sausage into 1/4-inch slices.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes.
  4. Add sausage; cook and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. Combine soup and milk in a 13x9-inch baking dish. Stir in uncooked pasta, sausage, 1/2 cup French-fried onions, 1/2 cup cheese and peas. Cover baking dish tightly with foil.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and top with remaining 1 cup French-fried onions and 1/2 cup cheese.
  8. Bake for 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  9. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
