Ingredients

  • ounce beef tenderloin steaks trimmed (1 to 1 1/)
  • 0.5 teaspoon butter 
  • 0.5 teaspoon dijon mustard 
  • 0.8 teaspoon flour all-purpose
  • 0.3 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper black
  • 0.3 cup beef broth low-sodium
  • 0.3 cup ruby port sweet
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.5 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Combine first 7 ingredients, whisking to dissolve flour.
  2. Coat a medium nonstick skillet with cooking spray; add butter.
  3. Place over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Add steaks, and cook 4 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.
  5. Transfer steaks to a plate; keep warm.
  6. Whisk broth mixture; add to pan. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute or until reduced to 1/4 cup, scraping pan to loosen browned bits.
  7. Serve sauce over steaks.
