Ingredients

  • oz round of président brie 
  • tablespoons maple syrup 
  • tablespoons brown sugar packed
  • tablespoon pear liqueur orange-flavored
  • 0.5 cup fruit dried (cranberries, raisins and/or apricots)
  • 0.3 cup pecans toasted coarsely chopped
  • slices crusty baguette toasted

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with foil.
  2. Place cheese on cookie sheet.
  3. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese begins to soften.
  4. Meanwhile, in 8-inch sauté pan or skillet, heat syrup, brown sugar and liqueur to boiling. Cook until mixture becomes thick and syrupy.
  5. Place warm Brie on serving plate. Top with dried fruit and pecans.
  6. Pour syrup over top.
  7. Serve with baguette slices.
