  • head broccoli fresh cut into florets
  • 0.3 cup butter melted
  • tablespoons juice of lemon 
  • teaspoon lemon zest

Directions

  1. Steam or boil broccoli until tender, approximately 4 to 8 minutes.
  2. Drain.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium low heat.
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice. lemon zest, and almonds.
  5. Pour over hot broccoli, and serve.
