Ingredients

  • pound pork loin boneless
  • teaspoon ground sage 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • clove garlic crushed
  • 0.5 cup water 
  • servings glaze 
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar 
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar 
  • tablespoon cornstarch 
  • 0.3 cup balsamic vinegar 
  • tablespoons soya sauce

Directions

  1. Combine sage, salt, pepper and garlic. Rub over roast.
  2. Place in slow cooker with 1/2 cup water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. About 1 hour before roast is done, combine ingredients for glaze in small sauce pan.
  3. Heat and stir until mixture thickens.
  4. Brush roast with glaze 2 or 3 times during the last hour of cooking.
  5. Serve with remaining glaze on the side.
