Ingredients

  • 16 oz brownie mix 
  • serving vegetable oil for on brownie mix box
  • 1.5 cups marshmallows miniature
  • 0.3 cup plus light
  • tablespoons butter 
  • 0.8 cup peanut butter chips 
  • teaspoons vanilla 
  • cup rice cereal crisp
  • cup roasted peanuts salted

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom of 8-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray. Make and bake brownies as directed on box. Immediately after removing from oven, sprinkle with marshmallows.
  2. Bake 1 to 2 minutes longer or until marshmallows just begin to puff. Cool 30 minutes on cooling rack.
  3. In 2-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup, butter, peanut butter chips and vanilla over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until chips are melted.
  4. Remove from heat; stir in cereal and peanuts.
  5. Spread evenly over marshmallows. Refrigerate about 1 1/2 hours or until firm.
  6. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Store in refrigerator.
