  • 0.3 cup brown sugar 
  • 0.3 cup butter 
  • tablespoon butter 
  • tablespoons mrs richardson's butterscotch caramel sauce prepared
  • tablespoon cornstarch argo®
  • 9-inch unbaked deep dish pie crust ()
  • 0.5 cups flour 
  •  granny smith apples cored peeled
  • tablespoon juice of lemon 
  • teaspoon pumpkin pie spice spice islands®
  • teaspoon imitation rum flavoring 
  • 0.5 cups sugar

Directions

  1. MIX sugar, pumpkin pie spice and corn starch in a large bowl.
  2. Cut apples into 1/4-inch thick slices and place in a separate bowl.
  3. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice and rum; add to dry ingredients. Stir to combine.
  4. Place in piecrust. Dot with 2 tablespoons of butter.
  5. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
  6. STIR flour and brown sugar together in small bowl.
  7. Cut in 1/4 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  8. Sprinkle evenly over top of pie.
  9. BAKE in a preheated 400F oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F and bake an additional 40 to 50 minutes, until golden brown. Delicious when served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
