  • 24 servings cherry glaze 
  • 1.5 cups flour all-purpose
  • 24  maraschino cherries 
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • tablespoon milk 
  • 0.8 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Drain cherries, reserving 1/4 cup of juice for glaze; set aside. Beat margarine until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating well. Stir in flour and salt.
  2. Add milk and vanilla; mix well. Shape into 24 balls. Press each ball around a cherry, covering it completely.
  3. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  4. Bake at 350 for 16 to 18 minutes.
  5. Transfer to wire racks and cool completely.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  7. Drizzle with Cherry Glaze.
