  • teaspoons cornmeal 
  • ounces crimini mushrooms sliced
  • 0.8 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • ounces fontina shredded
  • teaspoons thyme sprigs fresh chopped
  • tablespoon garlic fresh chopped
  • ounce sausage sweet italian
  • 2.5 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 0.3 cup onion vertically sliced
  • tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 12 ounce pizza dough fresh
  •  bell pepper red seeded sliced
  • 12 ounce chicken breast halves boneless skinless cubed

Directions

  1. Let dough rest, covered, at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 45
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons oil, chicken, and sausage; saut 5 minutes.
  5. Remove mixture from pan.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon oil to pan; swirl.
  7. Add onion, mushrooms, and garlic; saut 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  8. Punch dough down.
  9. Sprinkle a baking sheet with cornmeal.
  10. Roll dough out to a 14-inch circle on baking sheet.
  11. Brush dough with 1 tablespoon oil; sprinkle with 2 ounces cheese. Arrange chicken mixture, vegetable mixture, and bell pepper over cheese, leaving a 1/4-inch border. Top with remaining cheese and crushed red pepper.
  12. Bake at 450 for 20 minutes or until golden.
  13. Sprinkle with herbs.
  14. Cut into slices.
