Directions

  1. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium-low heat; add flour, whisking until smooth. Cook, whisking constantly, 1 minute. Increase heat to medium, and gradually add milk; cook, whisking constantly, until slightly thickened.
  2. Remove from heat; add cheese and remaining ingredients, stirring until cheese melts. Keep warm.
