Ingredients

  • 14.8 ounce corn cream-style canned
  • 0.5 pound chicken breast boneless skinless finely chopped
  • cups chicken broth 
  • slices bacon crumbled crisp cooked
  • tablespoons cornstarch 
  •  egg whites 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoon cooking sherry 
  • teaspoons soya sauce 
  • 0.3 cup water

Directions

  1. Mince chicken.
  2. Mix together with sherry, salt, and egg whites in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add cream style corn, and mix well to blend.
  4. Preheat a wok or large frying pan to medium high.
  5. Add chicken broth and soy sauce, and bring to a boil.
  6. Add chicken mixture, and return to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for 3 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  7. In a cup, mix together water and cornstarch until well blended.
  8. Add cornstarch mixture to simmering soup, stirring constantly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes; soup will thicken slightly. Crumble cooked bacon over individual servings.
