Suggestions

This chocolate nut spread is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional chocolate spreads. It's gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan, making it a great option for those with dietary restrictions. With a perfect balance of sweetness and a hint of bitterness from the cocoa powder, this spread is a treat for all chocolate lovers. The best part? It's incredibly easy to make and can be ready in just 45 minutes! The spread is made with a combination of roasted nuts, including almonds, hazelnuts, and walnuts, which gives it a rich, buttery texture and a boost of healthy fats and protein. Medjool dates add natural sweetness, while vanilla almond milk and coconut oil ensure a smooth and creamy consistency. This spread is perfect as a condiment, dip, or simply enjoyed on toast, and it's a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth in a healthier way.
In addition to its great taste, this chocolate nut spread also offers some impressive nutritional benefits. It's a good source of manganese, vitamin E, copper, and magnesium, and provides a good amount of fiber and healthy fats. With no added refined sugar, this spread is a much healthier option compared to store-bought chocolate spreads. So, if you're looking for a delicious and nutritious treat that the whole family will love, this chocolate nut spread is definitely worth trying!

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup vanilla almond milk
  • cup almonds
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips
  • Tablespoons coconut oil
  • cup hazelnuts
  • cup medjool dates
  • 0.3 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 0.5 cup walnuts
  • tbsp water

Equipment

  • food processor
  • baking sheet
  • oven
  • pot

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven at 350.On a cookie sheet, spread the hazelnuts, the almonds, the walnuts and put them in the oven for 10-12 minutes. In the meantime, cook your dates with the water for 5 minutes in a small pot. When its all in puree, melt in your chocolate chunks, the coconut oil and stir in the cocoa powder. When your nuts are roasted, put them in the food processor and mix until you see it starts to turn into butter, about 3-4 minutes. I find its faster when the nuts are still hot compared to cold ones.
  2. Add in the chocolate and continue mixing until its a paste. Put in the almond milk and you will get a nice smooth texture, really spreadable.
