  • 0.7 cup brown sugar light packed
  • 0.5 cup milk 1% low-fat
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.5 cup almond toffee bits 
  • 0.3 cup cocoa unsweetened
  • tablespoons cocoa unsweetened
  • teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • tablespoons vegetable oil 
  • cup water hot

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife.
  3. Combine flour and next 5 ingredients in a bowl.
  4. Add milk, oil, and vanilla, stirring just until combined.
  5. Pour batter into an 8-inch square baking pan coated with cooking spray.
  6. Combine brown sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa in a small bowl; sprinkle evenly over batter.
  7. Pour hot water over batter (do not stir).
  8. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven; sprinkle with toffee bits.
  10. Let stand 15 minutes.
  11. Serve warm.
