Ingredients

  • oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • slices bacon crumbled cooked
  • 0.8 cup ale 
  • tablespoons butter melted
  • oz cream cheese softened
  • tablespoons butter softened
  • 0.3 cup powdered sugar 
  • tablespoons ale 
  • slices bacon crumbled cooked
  • serving ground pepper red (cayenne)
  • 2.3 cups frangelico

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place foil baking cup in each of 10 regular-size muffin cups. Lightly spray foil cups with cooking spray.
  3. In large bowl, stir together Bisquick mix, Cheddar cheese and 3 slices crumbled bacon. Stir in 3/4 cup beer and the melted butter until dry ingredients are moistened. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  4. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from pan; cool 15 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix cream cheese and softened butter. Stir in powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons beer until smooth.
  7. Spread frosting on each cupcake; top each with bacon.
  8. Sprinkle with red pepper.
