  • medium all purpose apples cored sliced
  • 1.5 cups biscuit baking mix divided
  • 0.5 cup firmly brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup butter cold
  • tablespoons butter cold
  • 14 ounce eagle brand® condensed milk sweetened canned
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.5 cup nuts chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In medium bowl, combine apples, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon.
  2. In large bowl, cut 1/2 cup butter into 1 cup biscuit mix until crumbly. Stir in apple mixture.
  3. Pour into greased 9-inch square baking pan.
  4. In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup biscuit mix and brown sugar; cut in remaining 2-tablespoon butter until crumbly.
  5. Add nuts.
  6. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture.
  7. Bake 1 hour or until golden.
  8. Serve warm with ice cream if desired. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
