  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • ounce pineapple with juice crushed canned
  • cups confectioners' sugar 
  • ounce cream cheese 
  • cup pecans chopped
  • teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 18.3 ounce duncan hines classic decadent cake mix white
  • cups sugar white

Directions

  1. Prepare cake according to instructions on package.
  2. Bake in a 9x13 inch pan. Allow to cool.
  3. Combine pineapple and sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Spoon over cooled cake.
  4. In a large bowl, cream butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
  6. Add vanilla.
  7. Add pecans and mix well.
  8. Spread cream cheese frosting over cake.
