Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup beef broth 
  • 1.5 pounds flank steak 
  • tablespoons canola oil 
  •  garlic clove minced
  •  spring onion sliced
  • tablespoons juice of lemon 
  • tablespoons mustard prepared
  • 0.5 cup soya sauce 
  • tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first seven ingredients.
  2. Add beef; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight, turning once.
  3. Drain and discard marinade.
  4. Brush both sides of meat with mustard. Grill, covered, over medium-hot heat for 5-10 minutes on each side (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°. Slice thinly across the grain.
