Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup cream fat-free sour
  • tablespoon brown sugar packed
  • tablespoon candied ginger chopped
  • lb pineapple 
  • tablespoon butter melted
  •  maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, mix all ginger cream ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
  2. Cut 1/2-inch slice off top and bottom of pineapple.
  3. Cut off rind.
  4. Cut pineapple crosswise into 6 slices; remove "eyes" from slices.
  5. Drizzle both sides of pineapple slices with butter.
  6. Place pineapple slices on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 10 to 15 minutes, turning once, until hot and light brown. To serve, top pineapple with ginger cream; garnish with cherries.
