  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • teaspoon thyme leaves fresh
  • 11 oz logs goat cheese fresh
  • 0.3 cup honey 
  • 0.3 cup olive oil 
  • servings garnish: thyme fresh
  • servings lahvosh

Directions

  1. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice goat cheese in 1/2"-thick slices.
  2. Place cheese in an 11" x 7" dish or other serving platter.
  3. Drizzle with oil.
  4. Combine honey and pepper; drizzle over cheese.
  5. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. thyme leaves. Cover and chill up to 2 days.
  6. Remove cheese from refrigerator 1 hour before serving. Just before serving, drizzle a little vinegar over cheese.
  7. Garnish, if desired.
  8. Serve with lahvosh or other specialty cracker bread.
