Ingredients

  • lb ground beef 80% lean (at least )
  • 0.5 cup bell pepper chopped
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • 0.3 cup barbecue sauce 
  • oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • cup milk 
  •  eggs 
  • serving barbecue sauce 
  • cup frangelico

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Grease bottom and side of 9-inch pie plate with shortening. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef, bell pepper and onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in 1/3 cup barbecue sauce.
  2. Spread in pie plate.
  3. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup of the cheese.
  4. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk and eggs until blended.
  5. Pour over beef mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered 25 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining 3/4 cup cheese.
  8. Bake about 5 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Serve with additional barbecue sauce.
