Ingredients

  • pound top round beef roast 
  • tablespoon vegetable oil 
  • medium bell pepper green cut into 1/4-inch strips
  • medium onion thinly sliced
  • tablespoon basil dried fresh chopped
  • tablespoon oregano dried fresh chopped
  • 10.5 ounces beef broth canned
  • 1.5 teaspoons worcestershire sauce 
  •  crusty rolls split toasted

Directions

  1. Cut beef into 1/4-inch slices; cut slices crosswise in half.
  2. Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add bell pepper, onion, basil and oregano; stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes or until vegetables are lightly browned and tender.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. Add beef, broth and Worcestershire sauce to skillet. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove beef mixture with slotted spoon; divide beef mixture among rolls.
  7. Serve sandwiches with broth for dipping.
