  • cup breadcrumbs italian
  •  eggs 
  • lb ground beef lean
  • 0.3 cup onion finely chopped
  • 0.3 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 14 oz pasta sauce 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper

  • loaf pan
  • kitchen thermometer

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350F. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except pasta sauce; mix well.
  2. Add 1 cup pasta sauce; mix well. Press mixture into ungreased 8x4-inch loaf pan.
  3. Bake at 350F. for 40 minutes.
  4. Pour remaining pasta sauce over meatloaf.
  5. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked in center and meat thermometer registers 160F.
  6. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
