  • 56 ounce tomatoes diced canned
  • 0.1 cup celery leaves diced
  •  garlic clove minced
  • tablespoon garlic powder 
  • lb pd of ground turkey 
  • lb turkey sausage italian
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • 0.5 medium onion diced
  • tablespoon onion powder 
  • tablespoons oregano 
  • 0.5 tablespoon pepper 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • tablespoon salt 
  • tablespoon sugar 
  • 12 ounces tomato paste 
  • 15 ounces tomato sauce

Directions

  1. In a large pan over medium heat melt the butter and olive oil.Once hot, add the onion, celery leaves and garlic.
  2. Saute until soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground turkey and turkey sausage. Brown the meat, breaking it apart as it cooks.To a crock pot add the tomatoes, tomato sauce and paste and the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine. Set crock pot to low setting.Once meat is cooked through add it to the crock pot. Cook over low heat about 4 hours.This can also be cooked over the stove for less time, just make sure to stir every 10 minutes or so to keep it from burning.
