  • box brownie mix 
  • serving vegetable oil for on brownie mix box
  • teaspoon peppermint flavoring 
  • ounces chocolate bar coarsely chopped
  • 0.3 cup chocolate syrup 
  • cups cool whip frozen thawed
  • teaspoons peppermint flavoring

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. Make brownie mix as directed on box, using water, oil and eggs and adding 1 teaspoon maple flavor.
  2. Spread batter in pan.
  3. Bake as directed on box. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack, about 1 hour.
  4. Meanwhile, mix Maple Cream Frosting ingredients until well blended; refrigerate.
  5. Spread frosting over cooled brownies. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
  6. Cut dessert into 4 rows by 3 rows.
  7. Sprinkle each serving with chopped candy bars; drizzle with syrup. Store covered in refrigerator.
