Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup butter melted
  • sprigs peppermint candies 
  • cups chocolate wafers such as nabisco famous ( 40)
  • drops drop natural food coloring green
  • cups cup heavy whipping cream 
  • ounces marshmallow creme 
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • 0.5 teaspoon peppermint extract 
  • drops food coloring red
  • pint whipped cream softened

  • springform pan

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine cookie crumbs and butter. Press onto the bottom of a 9-in. springform pan. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Tint ice cream with green food coloring.
  2. Spread over crust. Cover and freeze for 2 hours or until firm.
  3. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine marshmallow creme and milk.
  4. Add extract and red food coloring. Fold in whipped cream.
  5. Spread over ice cream. Cover and freeze until firm.
  6. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with chocolate curls, candies and mint if desired.
