Ingredients

  • 2  bay leaves 
  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon granules 
  • 0.3 cup pepper black
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black
  • 3 pound chuck roast boneless
  • 10.8 ounce cream of mushroom soup canned
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed
  • 0.3 cup garlic powder 
  • 1 cup onion wedges thinly sliced
  • 0.3 cup red wine 
  • 1 cup salt 
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 
  • 0.8 cup water 
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Add the House Seasoning, salt and pepper to a small bowl. Rub seasoning into the roast on both sides.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet and brown the roast, searing it on both sides.
  4. Place the meat in a roaster pan.
  5. Add onions and garlic to skillet for 1 to 2 minutes to absorb leftover roast juice.
  6. Place into roaster pan with meat and bay leaves.
  7. Combine the mushroom soup, wine, Worcestershire sauce and beef bouillon into a bowl.
  8. Pour over the roast.
  9. Add water.
  10. Cover pan with foil and bake for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until tender.
  11. Remove and discard the bay leaves.
  12. Mix ingredients and store in an air tight container for up to 6 months.
