  • 10 oz canned tomatoes with chiles canned
  • 28 oz canned tomatoes canned
  • stalks celery chopped
  • teaspoons basil dried
  • cloves garlic chopped
  •  bell pepper green chopped
  • pound ground sausage italian hot crumbled
  •  onion chopped
  •  bell pepper red chopped
  • servings salt and pepper to taste
  • oz canned tomatoes canned
  • cup water 
  •  zucchini sliced

Directions

  1. Combine sausage, onion, celery, peppers, zucchini and garlic in a large saucepan; saut until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender.
  2. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water, basil, salt and pepper; cook until heated through.
  3. Mix in garbanzo beans, heat through.
  4. Serve in warmed soup bowls.
