With its stunning layers of red-colored gelatin, white pudding, and fresh blueberries, this parfait is not only a feast for the taste buds but also a visual delight. The red layer is achieved through a flavored instant gelatin of your choice, such as cherry or strawberry Jell-O, which adds a vibrant color and a slightly tart taste that complements the sweetness of the white pudding layer.

The heart of this recipe lies in the homemade pudding, made from a blend of half-and-half, milk, sugar, and a hint of vanilla extract. The pudding sets to a perfect, creamy consistency after being cooled and refrigerated, ensuring a rich and indulgent taste with each spoonful. The fresh blueberries, a symbol of the "blue" in our patriotic theme, add a burst of natural sweetness and a refreshing crunch to the parfait.

Preparing these parfaits is a breeze, requiring only a handful of equipment and a few simple steps. The process involves making the pudding, setting the gelatin, and layering the ingredients in 8-oz glasses. The recipe allows for customization, making it a perfect choice for those who love to play with colors and flavors.

Whether you're celebrating Independence Day, a family gathering, or simply craving a unique dessert, these Red, White and Blue Parfaits are sure to impress. Their gluten-free status makes them inclusive, catering to dietary restrictions without compromising on taste or presentation. So, why not give this recipe a try and enjoy a dessert that's as beautiful as it is delicious?
