  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin 
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • lb pork tenderloin

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 42
  2. Cut pork tenderloin in half crosswise.
  3. Mix garlic, rosemary, cumin, salt, and pepper and rub mixture all over pork.
  4. Heat oil in a medium ovenproof frying pan over high heat.
  5. Add pork and cook, turning as needed, until outside is completely seared, about 3 minutes total.
  6. Put pan in oven and roast pork until done the way you like, about 10 minutes for medium (150 on an instant-read thermometer).
  7. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
