  • cup bell pepper strips red ( 1 medium)
  • cup bell pepper strips yellow ( 1 medium)
  • ounces turkey sausage italian hot
  • cup basic marinara 
  • 0.5 teaspoon oregano dried
  • ounces part-skim mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 16 ounce cheese-flavored pizza crust (such as Boboli)
  • ounces provolone cheese shredded
  • tablespoon no-salt-added tomato paste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 45
  2. Remove casings from sausage.
  3. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Coat pan with cooking spray.
  4. Add sausage and bell peppers to pan; cook 6 minutes or until bell peppers are crisp-tender and sausage is browned, stirring frequently.
  5. Place pizza crust on a large baking sheet.
  6. Combine Basic Marinara and tomato paste, stirring with a whisk; spread evenly over crust, leaving a 1-inch border.
  7. Sprinkle with cheeses and oregano; top evenly with sausage mixture.
  8. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes or until cheese melts and crust is lightly browned.
  9. Remove from oven; let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
