  • 1.5 cups sweet potatoes and into shredded uncooked ()
  • 0.5 cup sugar 
  • 0.3 cup vegetable oil 
  •  eggs 
  • cup flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 cup flour whole wheat
  • teaspoons onion instant minced
  • teaspoon rosemary dried crumbled
  • teaspoon baking soda 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • tablespoon sesame seed

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom only of round pan, 9x1 1/2 inches, with shortening.
  2. Mix sweet potato, sugar, oil and eggs in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients except sesame seed.
  3. Spread in pan.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seed over batter.
  5. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  6. Serve warm.
