  • 0.5 tsp almond extract 
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda 
  • 0.8 cup butter softened (1-)
  • oz philadelphia cream cheese softened
  • 2.3 cups flour 
  • cup granulated sugar 
  • 0.8 cup powdered sugar 
  • cup planters slivered almonds finely chopped
  • tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Beat first 5 ingredients in large bowl with mixer until well blended.
  2. Add flour and baking soda; mix well. Stir in nuts. Refrigerate 30 min.
  3. Heat oven to 350F.
  4. Roll dough into 60 (1-inch) balls; shape each into crescent shape.
  5. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets. Flatten slightly.
  6. Bake 10 to 12 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 3 min. on baking sheets; transfer to wire racks.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar; cool completely.
